Roy knew everyone and everyone knew Roy. He owned Roy’s Atlantic service station, garage, car wash and towing service for 35 years. Roy never forgot the great group of guys through the years at his station, known as “Roy’s Boys.” (You know who you are.)
Roy always had a good story to tell. He was a helpful, easy going and likeable guy who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and Tide Sportsmen’s Club. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening, coin collecting, banking, listening to good music and watching his Steelers and Pirates. He always enjoyed having his family together. He loved his kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, family, friends, church and community.
He gave so much and was always there when needed. He will be solely missed and we will carry him in our hearts forever. Roy lived life to the fullest until the end. A special thank you to Drs. Snyder and Han, who were always there to help our Dad through the years with medical problems.
Due to recent COVID-19 health restrictions, the family held a private graveside service at Oakland Cemetery.
