Alice L. Ramsey, 99, Homer City died Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Nellie (Weikal) Hittle and was born March 3, 1913 in Greenville, PA. Mrs. Ramsey was a loving Mother and Gram. She was a member of the Homer City United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Ideal Friendship Class of the Homer City United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens Silver and Gold Club and a Helper in the Easter Egg Project at her church. She was retired from the Dubois Area Schools where she worked in the school cafeteria. Alice enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. She enjoyed trips to the Outer Banks and also word and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her daughters Betsy (Sam) Arone of Homer City, Linda (Bob) Snyder of Houston, Texas and Son-in-law Steve Delph of Hampstead, Maryland. 7 Grandchildren: Tony (Jamie) Arone, Michael (Julie) Arone, Nicholas (Tracy) Arone, Jacob (Chrissie) Albright, Jason Albright, Jenny (Sean) ONeil, Neal Nepo. 18 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband- Paul, daughter - Paula Albright Delph; Granddaughter Nancy Snyder Nepo; sisters - Mildred Hardy, Thelma Busch, Marion Douglas and Evelyn Dias; brother - Glenn Hittle. Friends will be received Friday from 1-4 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City and from 10 until time of funeral service at 11:00AM at the Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City with Rev. Joseph Stains, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery Indiana. In lieu of flowers Donation may be made to the Homer City United Methodist Church.
